A Memo sent to us from Delta:
"We’re quickly approaching the completion of the integration of Delta's SkyBonus and Northwest's Biz Perks programs, and the following is some information to prepare you for the new program arrival:
· The "Add Ticket" page used to submit tickets for retroactive credit will be temporarily unavailable from January 21 through January 30, 2010.
· In order to integrate these two corporate loyalty programs, the SkyBonus website will be down from January 25 through January 30, 2010.
· SkyBonus awards needed for travel during these dates must be redeemed before January 25, 2010.
· The Northwest Biz Perks program will officially merge into the new Delta SkyBonus program on January 31, 2010.
· SkyBonus members are encouraged to limit flight award redemptions until after integration when they are able to book award travel on
delta.com due to this exciting new program enhancement.We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience as we consolidate our corporate loyalty programs and continue to merge the airlines.
The combination of Northwest and Delta will offer customers the best network of any major airline, serving more than 350 destinations on six continents. And the merger of the Biz Perks and SkyBonus programs will provide more ways for members to earn and redeem points. Additional details about the features and enhancements of the new SkyBonus program will be provided during the next few weeks.
